Andy Lera has a diverse background in multiple areas and uses these skills to find solutions to make the world a better place for all.

       His main interests are in energy efficiency to reduce the power requirements of everything from houses to recycling systems. When he is not busy balancing numbers on a building energy simulation software for a client, Andy might be found in his shop working on a new invention such as a core for a Hea Recovery Ventilator or making diesel fuel from unrecyclable plastic.

       Other projects that occupy his time are creative builing projects from a garden gate to a timber-framed Passive House. All built by hand of course! You might also find Andy out in a kayak or climbing a local mountain.
